Six months after the Coronavirus started in Wuhan, China, it is reported to have more than 6,000,000 cases worldwide and over 370,000 deaths. Thus, everybody is aware of this new virus and I found very interesting to inform you about how Technology Startups are stopping the Coronavirus. For some of these Tech Startups, it has been a great opportunity to get famous worldwide.

I have divided the article into different sections based on the different phases of how the Coronavirus is spreading: Preventing, stopping the spread and treating the coronavirus.

Bluedot alerts clients of an outbreak beating health organizations to the punch. It combines AI and ML to analyze a big amount of data in order to identify disease outbreaks.

Stopping the spread of the Coronavirus.

Denmark based Tech Startups, provides a disinfection air robots.

These UVD-Robots are emitting concentrated UV-C light from a column of bulbs, you can watch in detail in one of his videos. The light has a germicidal effect, allowing it to kill airborne viruses and bacteria on surfaces.

Shanghai startup develop Coronavirus detectors.

San Francisco based Startup aims to detect asymptomatic infections such as the Coronavirus.

Pinpoint Science, a startup based in San Francisco, has joined forces with Analog Devices Inc in order to develop a nanosensor diagnostics with a target to show the results in under 1 minute.

The initial purpose of this development wasn’t targeting only Coronavirus. It targets many infectious diseases. However, with the growth of the Coronavirus, it turned to be very useful in order to fight against the fast spread of the Coronavirus.

The Japanese Tech Startup: Bespoke has launched a chatbot ‘Bebot’ to offer latest and reliable updates to travelers on the coronavirus outbreak.

A Startup based in Rockville, Md, is using Artificial Intelligence to identify the molecules for the treatment.

Insilico Medicine, claims that it usually takes years for any other new virus treatment, however, “Insilico picked this target, in part, because it is similar to other viral proteases whose structures were previously mapped”.
